Analytical Factory was founded in 2018 to act as the tier 1 partner for Phebi Inc to specialise in the speech recognition revolution.

What is Phebi?
Phebi—pronounced FEE-bee, also started life in 2018. Its designers and developers based it on the idea that voice interactions are the most productive, intuitive and efficient way for people to communicate, share feedback and provide instruction.
Having seen consumers across a wide demographic enthusiastically adopt voice interaction as a part of contemporary life, the founders of Phebi set out to help businesses join the voice economy quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
Phebi makes use of speech recognition, natural language processing (NLP), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to create affordable, quick and easy to deploy software. Phebi improves business outcomes by voice-enabling market and survey research, e-commerce and a myriad of other consumer interactions.
The flagship solutions are the Phebi Plugin, which makes it easy to voice-enable any survey and the Phebi Portal, which makes it easy to transcribe voice data, to then explore, analyse and visualise voice, emotion and sentiment data in new and powerful ways. Additionally, there is Phebi Live, for understanding emotion in real-time.
Analytical Factory is headquartered in the UK with a team that has decades of practical experience of the core enabling technologies of NLP, AI and ML. Berni Simmons
Director – Sales, Marketing and Operations
Berni has over twenty years experience of predictive analytics, data mining, business intelligence and market research having worked across a variety of roles building new businesses and technologies in the UK and European markets. He is a customer focused leader always looking for ways to bring value to a client’s technology investment.

Rachel Clinton
Director – Business Development and Operations
Rachel is an experienced leader with a background in direct sales, sales management and solution specifications. More than 20 years of experience in SPSS, IBM and their technology partners gives her a wealth of practical experience of the Market Research, Predictive Analytics and Data technologies. She has a side hobby in mixing and drinking cocktails as well as a long time interest in Formula One.

John McConnell
Director – Technology
John has delivered a broad range of analytical consulting services for over 25 years. His projects range from ad hoc analyses to multi-user, high-end automated analytical solutions using data mining and predictive analytics technologies but he always comes back to his Market Research roots.

Jarlath Quinn
Director – Technology
A veteran of the Predictive Analytics industry, since 1995 Jarlath has worked for SPSS, IBM and SAS Institute delivering predictive analytics solutions for major telecommunications, financial services, utilities, retailers and government organisations. His roots are as a statistician focusing on traditional survey research methods. Jarlath likes fishing, astronomy and pale ale.
